I just placed an order that I'm so excited about! Our family has been needing a new water purification system for quite some time. Our old one just wasn't working properly any longer and was wasting SO much water that we quit using it for the most part and have been buying water at the store.Now in just a few more days we won't have to make that twice weekly trip to the store for water, and we won't have to drink our city water with all of it's yucky stuff either, we'll have clean, pure water at home again!
We've been considering purchasing a Berkey filter, but just hadn't been able to do it because of the large initial cost. I've never heard of that filter before; our family uses the reverse osmosis filter. It has worked well for us.

We used to have a RO system too, but it got to where more water was going down the drain than was actually being purified, and we hated wasting so much water. The Berkeys are very powerful filters and can even filter water from streams or lakes! We're excited to be getting one of our own! :)
I try water filters occasionally and then after going through a few filters I always go back to drinking straight from the tap.
