I've been given so much and have been blessed in so many ways by so many different people, and now I want to in turn bless someone else. I want to give someone a $25 gift code to Joyfully Sewn Designs. I wish I could give you each one, but since that isn't possible, I'm going to do a birthday giveaway!
If this is your first introduction to Joyfully Sewn Designs, thank you for stopping by my blog! I began JSD in the Fall of 2009 as an extension of the small local custom sewing business I had been doing since I graduated from high school in 1999. It was (and is) my desire to use the talents the Lord has blessed me with to help provide modest feminine clothing for mothers and daughters. Most of my sewing is focused on girls' clothing, but I also make some skirts and other custom items for ladies.
As I've been working on building Joyfully Sewn Designs this past year, I have branched out into a little bit of blog advertising, and have met some very special ladies who have become friends. Several of these ladies have agreed to help me celebrate my birthday by posting this giveaway on their blogs too. I would love to have you stop by and check out their blogs. These blogs are well worth reading, and I know you'll be blessed as I have been.
And now, on to the giveaway! Just follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter form below to enter for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Joyfully Sewn Designs!

Happy Birthday. I love all of your dresses. I am stopping by from Raising Mighty Arrows. My favorite is the little girls pink and white dress with bloomers and bows. It is so classic. You are very talented! Who taught you how to sew? Do you have any tips on teaching a young child to sew? Thanks for the great giveaway!

Janine,
I would highly recommend the "I Can Teach Myself to Sew" books for teaching a child to sew. My sister and I used them several times in teaching basic sewing skills. They are filled with fun activities that little girls just love, and really do a good job of teaching sewing machine basics.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Just send me an e-mail at joyfullysewn at gmail dot com.
